This is your ticket to a lifetime of intense adventure with PADI, the dive company that sets the standards in the global diving community. As a certified PADI Open Water Diver you will have the freedom to dive to a maximum depth of 18 metres (adult), 12m (Junior)
All the lessons are professionally organised with our own dive team who are fully qualified PADI Instructors. We supply all the kit. All you need to bring is some swimwear and a towel.
What will I do?
The course consists of theory lessons, pool dives and openwater dives. All the pool work is under the direction of a PADI instructor. You start by learning in the comfort of your own home from the PADI Open Water crew pack which we provide. The practical work is done on Saturday afternoons in the pool at Queen Elizabeth Grammar School, where you are introduced to the scuba equipment and skills you will use throughout the course. Once you have mastered the skills, your instructor will arrange a convenient date to visit an openwater site to complete 4 openwater dives.
Openwater courses start every week and are progressed at the students pace. In 2011 we are investing in brand new equipment to give all our students the very best learning experience.
